a 2-0 start in the weekend.

it s a tough saturday in germany...also it started snowing again in germany (even up in the north in Hamburg). that will not affect 1.Liga, but pitches in 3.Liga or even lower leagues could be difficult to play on.

1.Bundesliga

Leverkusen- München: under 3 @1.87

it the top match of the league. Leverkusen on a hot streak although with the first let down in weeks with away loss at Bielefeld. very strong home team. München has won 6 of last 7 and only away draw they just gave away at Gladbach.
München has a great history playing at Leverkusen and i am actually leaning towards them for this reason, but overall it will be a open game.
what comes to a surprise that these teams actually build their success lately on defense.
Leverkusen has played only 1 of last 7 games over 3 goals (a crazy 3-3 draw at Karlsruhe). München plays in away games a completely different style. while their home games are flying over they try to control the pace in away games. resulting also in only 1 of last 7 away games going over 3 (the 2-2 draw at Gladbach, which had no business to go over at all).
considering the set up in standings, that both teams might be satisfied with a draw at a certain point it would be a surprise for me if one of the teams scores 3 times (3-1 or 1-3) or we get a crazy 2-2 draw....this should be at least a push on the total with good chances to stay under.

that it for 1.Liga: some comments

Hoffenheim should win, but has two key suspensions and tends to struggle a bit against defensive minded teams...could be upset of the day.

Hanover- KSC: two bad team..difficult to predict..leaning home team.

Bremen-Frankfurt: Bremen unpredictable right now..basically struggling big time.Ozil suspended in league will make their offense struggle again. Frankfurt could make it very close here.

Gladbach: to bad teams again...

3. Liga

Jena- Düsseldorf: Düsseldorf pk @ 1.92

Düsseldorf in big chase with Paderborn for top spot. Paderborn has won yesterday. Düsseldorf has to follow. Jena not a particular strong team..should be at least a draw.

Offenbach- Erfurt: under 2.5 @2.04

Erfurt very low scoring..Offenbach has problems against defensive minded teams.

Wuppertal- Regensburg: over 2.5 @1.80

Both teams should score and we should see the third from somebody.

1. Bundesliga

Stuttgart- Schalke: Stuttgart pk @1.80

Stuttgart struggled recently and that s why the line is at pk, but they have changed the coach after last weekend and that seemed to be steadying the team already...last games under coach Veh looked like the team wouldn t really want to fight for the coach. that changed immediately in midweek draw at Sampdoria in Uefa-cup...they should a completely different face and i expect the same again today.
Schalke meanwhile is struggling themselves...the 0-2 home loss to ManCity during week was an awful display and they had a lot of them lately (even when producing wins).
also important is that Stuttgart has not lost in 8 year at home to schalke.another trend i like.
Great value on he home team at pk as i think the line has not adjusted for coaching change.

Dortmund- Wolfsburg: Wolfsburg pk,+0.5 @ 2.05

i know Dortmund hasnt lost at home , while Wolfsburg hasnt won away this season, but there is not much between the teams, even with Dortmund at home. More that Dortmund sometimes struggles at home, while Wolfsburg is coming off a big away win in Uefa cup at Braga and should be full of confidence. A draw is very likely here.

Bochum- Hamburg: over 2.5 @1.80 !! 2 units!!

Bochum struggling and they made comments they have to be more agressive and play attacking style. that looks good for an over. They are 5-2 over in home games anyway and with Hamburg always vulnurable on defense a good chance for another entertaining game.
Hamburg coming off a big home win over Dortmund will go for the win here as it could bring them closer to the top. They played over in all 7 away games this season !! so lots of offense even in away games is guaranteed with them...should be at minimum a 2-1,1-2 type of game.
